If you have more than one location, there are a few additional settings you need to configure to get the most out of your profile pages.

Step #1: go to your ClearlyRated dashboard and within the 'Online Profile' tab you will find a "Manage Locations" section (example below).

Step #2: to edit information for a specific location, click on that location name to configure the following settings:

Address and contact information
Turn profile page on or off
Enable location specific ratings and testimonial

Why is it important to map my locations?

If you only have one location, no need to worry about this piece. However, if you have multiple locations, mapping locations will benefit you in a few ways:

It is so important to be able to show both your overall company rating and testimonials as well as the targeted location rating and testimonials to help your client's and candidates get the most accurate information. For example, if you have a potential client that is interested in working with your Portland office, you want to be able to show what it's like to work with you at that location as well as how much you rock as a company overall.
Creating pages for each of your locations can be very beneficial for your SEO as Google also prioritizes location-specific data they they can serve up to users based on where they are in the world.

Manage how star ratings and testimonials will display

How do I turn on my star ratings and testimonials?

To update the sharing settings of your star ratings and testimonials, go to your survey dashboard, and by navigating to 'Online Profile' > 'Profile Pages', within the "Manage Profile Settings" you will have the option to update the following settings:

display or not display your testimonials and star ratings
display testimonials with an abbreviated name or keep anonymous
automatically add testimonials or review before they're published

Don't forget! If you have multiple locations - you need to turn testimonials and star ratings "on" for each of your locations.

How do I approve testimonials?

Managing your testimonials is simple! Within your survey dashboard ('Online Profile' > 'Profile Pages'), there is a section titled 'Client Testimonials' Within that section, you will be able to manage your testimonials. A key will indicate which testimonials of yours are published, unpublished, or awaiting approval.

Note: If you have opted to have your testimonials automatically be added to your profile page, you won't need to worry about this step.

Embed your ClearlyRated.com profile page on your website

How do I link my award logo to my website?

We recommend using the HTML (provided in your dashboard within 'Award Resources') to add your award logo to your website. This HTML has been optimized to enhance how your ClearlyRated star ratings display in search.

You'll simply be able to copy the HTML and share it with your website development team (or whoever manages your company's website!), to have it added to your site.

To access your award logos as well as other FAQ's and best practices, visit the 'Award Logos' section of your Marketing Toolkit.

Where on my website should I add a link to my profile?

Ideally, a link to your profile page should be placed on one optimized page of your website. A few recommended options are to put your profile page link on an About, Reviews/Testimonials, Awards or a Contact page.

Note: If your firm has multiple locations (each with its own ClearlyRated profile page), it’s best to put your ClearlyRated profile link on each location’s unique page on your company’s website. To gain the most benefit from your ClearlyRated profile page, it’s recommended to include topically relevant content on your website’s page with the link.

How do I link to multiple of my locations?

If your firm has multiple locations (each with its own ClearlyRated profile page), it's best to link to each location profile page from location-specific content on your website. So, if you have one page on your website highlighting the Seattle office - that is where you should link to the Seattle profile on ClearlyRated. Add the Star Ratings Widget to your website

What is the ClearlyRated Star Ratings Widget?

The Star Ratings Widget is a new feature designed to help the businesses we serve maximize the value of their ClearlyRated survey results in their digital marketing and online reputation efforts. With the widget, star ratings that populate on your ClearlyRated.com profile page can, in real-time, populate on any page(s) of your website. It’s instant social proof on your most visited marketing asset, and also helps improve the SEO value of your ClearlyRated.com profile pages by confirming for Google that those pages are affiliated with your brand.

How do I add the star ratings widget to my website?

Adding the Star Ratings Widget to your website is as simple as pasting a small bit of code from your ClearlyRated dashboard into the desired location(s) on your website.

If you currently have an active subscription with ClearlyRated at the premium package level or higher – the Star Ratings Widget is available to you at no extra cost! For step-by-step instructions to activate the widget, head to your ClearlyRated survey dashboard (go to Online Profile > Widgets).
Configure the widget in the dashboard and then copy the generated code snippet. Share this code with your development team, or whoever manages your website code-base, to have it added to your website. Note: within your profile page settings you must have your star ratings and testimonials turned on in order for the widget to display. You can check (or update) this setting by going to Online Profile > Profile Pages > ‘Manage Profile’ within your dashboard.

The more people that visit your profile page, the higher Google will continue to rank you in organic searches. The opportunities are endless - consider posting to social media every other month to showcase your star ratings and drive traffic to your profile. social media accounts - both in your account bio's and social posts
