Profile Page Visitor Identification

Activity Rate is a measure of how many times a potential prospect has visited your profile pages. We track each visit they make and if they visit a page multiple times, or visit multiple different pages from the same account (any brand), that is considered a higher activity rate. 

Browser privacy controls, work-from-home, shared cellular networks, device settings, and other factors can make it impossible to get more than a geographic identification for some visitors. We tested many different 3rd-party platforms to provide this data and believe we are using the best one, but it won’t always be 100% accurate at all times.

A: By default, admins will receive an email on the first of each month with their profile visitor data. You can change this setting in the dashboard here.

The vast majority of the visitor identifications are done using publicly available tools such as the Clearbit and 6sense platforms. For the visitors that only have geography info - where no company could be identified - we are using the IP address of the person on the profile page with a simple IP-to-geography lookup on IPInfo. 

Please note: Browser privacy controls, work-from-home, shared cellular networks, device settings, and other factors all affect the accuracy and availability of information about visitors to your profile. We tested many different 3rd-party platforms to provide this data and believe we are using the best one, but it won’t always be 100% accurate at all times.

A couple small steps can have big impacts on getting potential prospects to visit your ClearlyRated profile page:

1. Add our star rating widget to a highly-visibly place on your website. For example, someplace on your homepage where you are highlighting your commitment to providing excellent customer service. The widget links to your profile page and is a fantastic opportunity to drive traffic there in order to showcase not only your brand's star ratings, but your testimonials and 'Best of' awards as well.
2. Add our email star rating widget, which also links to your profile page.
3. If you're in the staffing & recruiting industry, adopt Amplify Recruiters for your recruiters, which includes an email widget specifically for your recruiters.

It's also important to make sure your profile page has been completely updated & optimized. You can do this in the dashboard under Amplify -> Online Profile.

Unfortunately, since we aren't integrated into your CRM tools, our Profile Visitor ID feature can't provide contact details for individuals at the firms we identify.

If you don't receive more than 3 new profile visitors within the time frame you set up for your visitor ID notification email you won't receive an email.

For ex: You are set to receive an email every week about new profile visitors in the last 30 days. However, your profile only received 2 new visitors in the last week - you won't receive an email for that week. However, if you profile receives another visitor before the next week's email is set to send, you will receive an email the following week.
